Joining the External Reporting Division that is responsible for ensuring compliance with external reporting obligations, this appointment will be instrumental in the preparation of Annual Report and Interim Reports along with adhoc reports for external stakeholders. These include but not limited to company’s history, market and business overview, business strategy, financial operational performance, management discussion and analysis and other corporate governance reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading the aforementioned reports, and responding in a timely manner to queries from management and other organizations within the company.

The Person

This position requires understanding of complex company operations and the company’s operational/financial performance, and the ability to communicate these in a clear and concise manner, acceptable for public reporting purposes. As such, we are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of producing high quality external reports for large companies, ideally within the energy sector. You will hold a bachelor’s degree in the areas of international relations, journalism, English or Communications with at least 5 years of experience as a business writer and excellent communications skills. Good command of business Arabic is desirable but not a requirement.
